App keeps restoring to default after restarting
I am noticing a problem with the mame emulator on my Apple TV. Each time I shut down the Apple TV and open the mame app, all roms are gone and all settings are restored to default, even after I’ve made changes.
Have you checked your available disk space? AppleTV will delete App's documents as soon as it feels it's running out of space. You need to leave a healthy chunk of free disk for this to not happen.
I wish there was a way to set-up a remote repository the ATV would connect to (a shared folder, for example, since external storage is not a thing in AppleTV)
I have a 32GB Apple TV 4K, only two apps I’ve downloaded are YouTube and the mame emulator. After redownloading mame a few times and changing the settings and adding roms using the web server, it continues to restore to default every time I restart the app. I tried the Apple Configurator app on my Mac to manually install roms, but it wouldn’t show up on the Apple TV for some reason.
