Support for Arcade Duo Atari Controller

Would it be possible to add support for Atari Duo Arcade Controller. I have an ipad 2 that fits beautifully in the controller dock and would be great to have the controls detected.

For pointers, someone had already developed a way to integrate the controller into ios apps: https://github.com/gabebear/AtariDuoHack

Does a possibility of including this exist?

Doesn't this controller iCade compatible?

Unfortunately it is not detecting no matter what external controller i choose.. I am guessing it is not an iCade controller. Can you help incorporate the above code to support the Atari controller?

The oldest iPad M4i supports is the iPad 4th gen (because we require iOS 13)

And that iPad has a lightning connector.

The Duo uses a 30pin dock connector....

So M4i can't run anyway.

What am I missing??

It theoretically could with a 30-ping to lightning, but it's anybody's guess what it'll report as.

Nonetheless, using this converter the whole "dock your ipad" point of this controller becomes unstable and easy to break, so it's not really useable anyway.
