Select down does not seem to work

Describe the bug When I press Shift+Down, or Shift+j (= J), nothing happens.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: press Shift+Down, or Shift+j (= J)

Expected behavior Select down

I have the default hotkey setup. I tried changing them, but no matter what I change them to nothing happens.

Are you in the select(visual) mode? Cuz these keys are only work on that mode.
