I think this is a solid/non-solid issue... I wonder if we shouldn't simply remove that OnlySolids property everywhere and just consider everything, solid or not

Don´t forget that anything that is not parametric (ex. imported STEP files) do need the Brep files. If the Brep file is not there, the object has no shape anymore...

The Map.txt is if I'm not mistaken the TNP's element map. It is not a good indicator, as you can have parametric objects that don't have an element map. Hopefully...

@recursivenomad yes, you could do that with AppLinks or BIM References... But it would make the whole workflow heavier than it should be... Plus, you'd need to version those files...

My 2 cents here: We've been go and round this conversation a lot already. Any way we look at it, we need the BREP files. A workflow without it is...

It was only my humble opinion. If the feature is useful to some, I of course have no objection to have it included...
