Hi, since the author is very busy lately and the extension broke recently: here's a bugfixed version which works on my latest chromeos:

• download this build zip
• download it & unzip it
• surf to chrome://extensions
• click 'load unpacked' (see screenshot)
• select the directory with the unzipped contents
• voila, you can now select it in the file explorer (3 dots -> Add new Service)
