Restrict upload bandwidth when synchronising

Is it possible to have an option to restrict the upload bandwidth being used by the app when synchronising a new/changed file?

When using my Chromebook on a slow ADSL connection and copying photos/videos from my phone into a dropbox folder, the upload to the Dropbox cloud consumes all the available bandwidth, slowing down Internet access for everyone using the connection.

It would be very helpful to have the option of setting a hard limit on upload bandwidth to ensure that this doesn't happen, even though it will slow down synchronisation.
