Cannot CHANGE Mounted Dropbox Accts - EVEN if Extension DELETED!

Open cjcornell opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

I installed the extension/plugin ... looked good. But I realized that I mounted to the wrong Dropbox account (I have several)

I checked the extension settings (none really) - no options to set/change the mounted Dropbox account.

So ... I then tried to remove/delete the extension and reinstall, this way I could add the correct Dropbox account.

No dice ... apparrently the extension remembers that it USED to be installed and uses the prior settings. And there is no way to change, no prompt, no setting, nothing where I can change the current mounted dropbox account.

I had this issue as well - I had to delete the dropbox android app and reinstall that, signing in to the correct account on there. When I logged back on to the file system extension, it allowed me to re-sign in. Hope that helps someone (although I see this was from over a year ago lol!)

I have this same problem - made the mistake of logging on with the wrong Dropbox account, now I am unable to rectify. I even tried completely removing the extension (using Chrome OS) and reinstalling. How do I fix this and access my Dropbox files?!
