We should take the time to replace the deprecated dependency. It's not going to be maintained in the long run.

.eslintrc.js format is deprecated as mentioned here. The new flat config is recommended: https://eslint.org/docs/latest/use/configure/configuration-files

The maintainer of the deprecated eslint-config-standard-with-typescript (as mentioned here) recommends this config which requires the new flat config format.
