USD contributions: The runtime instances for USD contributions do not inherit the thumbnail

Please describe the feature you have in mind and explain what the current shortcomings are?

When publishing a USD product with AYON's USD contribution workflow it will layer it in automatically into a department layer and target product (the usdAsset).

These automated products do not inherit a thumbnail the user may set for the product they are contributing. Which is unfortunate because then a usdAsset or usdShot usually does not get thumbnails - even though those are usually the products the user interacts with.

How would you imagine the implementation of the feature?

Automatically transfer any thumbnail between the two instances - but unfortunately thumbnails may be generated late, e.g. during extract - hence it may need to be some logic an integrator kan pick up that is like "use thumbnail from instance X" or alike.

Describe alternatives you've considered:

Another way would be to allow certain products to 'inherit' from another product the thumbnail dynamically if it hasn't any yet. But this would then become product specific and may need backend and frontend changes for that to work.
