File edit mistakes bytes for kilobytes in normal-app mode

When run as normal app, and trying to edit short text file, I get an error message that file's size is 1371KB and editor can handle up to 256KB. It's kinda like that, except that file size is 1371 bytes.

Editing works ok in system launcher mode.
