Not my thread, I found the issue and noticed OP didn't bother reporting even though they knew its mutter-rounded causing this
Can confirm this issue exists on 42.1-1.1
@yilozt why you ignoring this and answer #68
@Movisivi Let's not assume anything, yeah? In the meantime, let's not forget our manners or the fact we're all volunteers trying to work with one and other to make GNOME look better, mate. 🙃
Furthermore, I think he did answer in https://github.com/yilozt/mutter-rounded/issues/68#issuecomment-1142512555
As far as this issue, I've been trying to help debug this problem, but it's something I think @yilozt is gonna need to look into cause I'm pretty sure the fix goes beyond my current understanding of his changes.
This bug only occurs in Wayland session with HiDPI, sorry that I still have no ideal to fix it. you can try to switch to Xorg session.
@ran-dall The developer themself said they don't know how to fix it in that linked comment so....🤷 Switching back to X11 is not a solution
@ran-dall The developer themself said they don't know how to fix it in that linked comment so....shrug Switching back to X11 is not a solution
@Movisivi Exactly. So he did answer, and no one was ignored. 🙃
@ran-dall Suck a dick ya snarky cunt
How's that for manners?
@yilozt Found out when you focus on the icon at the bottom of the window in activities overview it does not lag. It only seems to lag when you focus on any other part of the window other than the icon.
is anyone even interested in fixing this issue?
This issue seems to be fixed in https://github.com/yilozt/rounded-window-corners
