[feature request] border setting

Hi, could you please make the border options more configurable? Is it possible to make the border color be an alpha or opacity compositing of the background color. so that the color of border will changes dynamically depending on its background pixel color.

I really need this feature because a fixed color won't fit all situation. anyway. thanks for your great work!
