themes or more document on custom css

Love the idea of litedown. It worked well for a simple site I tried to create. One thing I found a bit hard during my use of litedown is that for someone who doesn't know much about css, it's a bit hard to figure out how to change the look of the site (e.g., change the TOC color and its highlight color, etc.). It would be great if litedown could offer a few themes (for articles or sites), or alternatively, to keep things light, the document could explain a bit more about how to change basic looks of an article or site (just like it currently explains how to change font-family and font-size). Thanks.

Seconded. A few well-documented example would go a long way. I have seen in a package or two by @TimTaylor what is possible and it would be lovely to see some basic documentation. I use simplermarkdown in a few places, it could well be that litedown is a compelling alternative or even better. But I just cannot the documentation as @yihui being himself cannot write about what this does without at the same time going off incessantly on other formats and their tooling. And to that I just say no as I can't do it. My loss. So someone a little calmer stepping in would be a great help.

(I also find the style of the docs for litedown itself a little baroque but that is just me. Am I understanding things correctly that the CSS plugin support "should just work" for known minimal CSS styles such as newcss, buttondown, mvp, or those listed with mkws ? Plus, maybe, and I may be contradicting myself, tabsets?)
