Feature request: individual commit

In some circumstances (different filesystems for temp and download files, for example) it'd be really convenient if individual commits could be perform. It could happen that the download directory is almost full and has no space to commit all pending files but for some of them. It'd be really cool if one could chose which individual files to commit (so that they can be used), leaving the rest to be commited later.
