.NET Core support

Name says it all. Can you multitarget to .NET Core 3 or 3.1 alongside .NET Framework?

I haven't used WinForms/WPF on .NET Core yet and can't foresee when I'll need that. Also I don't currently have use for this control myself. So better don't wait for this to be done. Maybe the original project that this was forked from has this support? Especially since you mentioned in your upstream issue that you don't need the selection tweaks I have done here.
