Yggdrasil is stuck "not enabled" and I don't get an IP

Screenshot of the UI showing the main switch on but the status as "Not enabled" and no IP assigned.

With Android 13 (Lineageos 20-20231127-NIGHTLY-cheeseburger) on a Oneplus 5 (ONEPLUS A5000), with the https://github.com/yggdrasil-network/yggdrasil-android/tree/v0.1-016 version of the app, Yggdrasil itself seems to neither start up nor report any sort of error. When I flip the main enable switch, it flips to on, but the status stays stuck at "not enabled" and no IP address fills in in the field for one.

I have tried it with and without peers added. I have not yet tried turning multicast off; I just did a clean install of the app and flipped the main switch.

Is there anywhere in the app I should be looking for a log? Or do I need to get out of bed and use ADB to see what is wrong?

Turning multicast off doesn't seem to help.

FWIW, Crispa seems to have a similar issue with yggdrasil itself maybe not starting.

The kernel on this device is a pretty old one with loads of stuff backported: 4.4.302-perf+ #1 Mon Nov 27 05:45:00 UTC 2023. Does Yggdrasil itself need a newer kernel or something?

Would need some logs from ADB I think, it sounds like the VpnService is failing to start at all.
