Running fastqc on trimmed reads

Hi Fukasawa, Is it not necessary to run fastqc on the trimmed reads? I would like check if the quality has improved after trimming from longQC? (I tried fastqc, but it failed) Failed to process sample_trmmed.fq.gz java.util.zip.ZipException: Not in GZIP format How do we check if the quality is better? ( can we run longQC again on trimmed reads) Thanks, TJ
