z = 0 plan ?

Hello, (x,y) = (0, 0) is the top-left of the input image, but who know where plan z = 0 is ?

This paper uses the database from http://www.cbsr.ia.ac.cn/users/xiangyuzhu/projects/3DDFA/main.htm which is generated based on BFM (https://gravis.dmi.unibas.ch/publications/2009/BFModel09.pdf). However, I cannot see the information of plan z=0 when tracking/reading 3DDFA and BFM.

Please help !

Hello, I have the same question. I'd like to know the information of plan z=0. So do you know the z coordinate means?
