Hi,

Thanks for your interest in SQL LRS. We have architected the project specifically to allow for expansion to other SQL engines such as MySQL, Oracle, and MS SQL Server (which would cover the Azure SQL deployment you mentioned), but as of yet we have not implemented the appropriate drivers for those flavors. In fact it's feedback like this that is helping to determine the direction we go next.

As for Azure in general we know it should work great with Azure PostgreSQL and it is on the roadmap to add similar templates/guides for Azure deployment as we have for AWS in the past.

I would also vote for MS SQL Server, this definitely fills a void in the .NET Eco system.
