Open toobob opened this issue 1 year ago • 6 comments

on my windows 10 pc audiobookconverter has suddenly stopped working. after converting all mp3 files it proceeds to merging chapters and at end of merge it reports an error.

i have removed and redownloaded newest version, cleared temp files to no avail still errors at end of merge. no additional information is given.

mp3 files can be downloaded here.

@toobob Tested on 6.5.2 and on current dev build - works as expected with default settings. Thanks for providing files, but without knowing what else you did - which encoding settings you used, what book information you entered, if you attached any art work, and what resulting filename you selected, where source files are located - I can't reproduce this.

@yermak where can we find the error logs to show you what’s happening? I have tried multiple files with the same issue and I have tried the system repair option to go back to default settings after a fresh install as well so some troubleshooting steps would help. Just to highlight I’ve purchased this via steam.

@bradolson83 {$user.home}/AppData/Roaming/6.5.2

Alternatively, upload files you have problems with to any cloud and share private link to those file to my nickname @ gmail Important to share with me what settings you were using as I may not log all possible information. I will try to reproduce the bug to see if problem with program, with files or with your environment.
