Error in make command

Hi

I trying compile driver in manjaro linux (arch linux) for a netbook but I getting this error in make command

make: Entering directory '/usr/lib/modules/4.9.53-1-MANJARO/build' make: *** No rule to make target 'modules'. Stop.

can you help me, please.
