Same problem. I need this feature so I'm not able to use this app until that's supported.

The upcoming version 2.0.2 supports clipboard sharing using VZSpiceAgentPortAttachment. However, this uses the SPICE protocol and requires additional software to be installed in the VM. I do not have a recommendation for a good, open source, macOS SPICE client. If anyone has suggestions, please post them here.

In the meantime, I have a workaround to copy text from the VirtualOS to the outer Mac:

  1. If Stage Manager is on, turn it off.
  2. Make the VirtualOS window as large as possible but not full-screen
  3. Hide other apps
  4. Alt-tab to Finder
  5. Close any Finder windows
  6. Make sure Finder is still the active app but that you can see the VirtualOS window
  7. Shift-Command-4 to select an area
  8. Select the area and release the mouse button
  9. Open the screen print in Preview
  10. Use Live Text feature to copy and paste the text into a new document.
