What other popular tracking solutions are there that we could add support for?

I believe Gauges, Mixpanel and KissMetrics supports browserless analytics posting. Not sure about Mint though.

Yes, I used Mixpanel's before. They certainly have server-side language bindings. Should be possible to access them from node.
