When renaming the backup it disapears when powersaves is brought back up 11.6

I have a Old 3dsXL the file I pasted into my powersaves is POST5_U_28673_usa_9221.bin I renamed it to the backup file I had. Then brought powersaves back up. It was completely gone. I feel like the file isn't working correctly or something.
