I left a comment on https://github.com/coala/coala-bears/pull/166 now, a year after it was closed , and rultor replies to an old comment from over a year ago.

@jayvdb this most probably happened because that comment was missed. This may happen sometimes since GitHub API is not really 100% stable. Sometimes it fails and we're not getting notifications about some messages. It's not possible to fix this anyhow, I believe. It may just happen sometimes. I'm very sorry for asking that silly question, my bad!
