Ugly fonts

I just downloaded jstock but the fonts look really ugly. I'm using Debian testing. I tried to install a JRE (openjdk-11-jre because it's the latest) just in case it works better but it doesn't seem to be used. Is there any way to install jstock to have better font rendering?
