More concrete examples

Could we please add some concrete examples to the README? Instead of asyncFunction, could we give an example of a function that does something more useful/specific, such as a database query?

I have a vague idea of how to use node-sync, but I am unsure how to apply node-sync with node-redis get queries, for example.
