Running ubuntu 20.04 server, all required packages are install, script files have the same permissions as the default scripts, sshd has printmotd set to yes. Any advice? ```~$ whereis update-motd...
I noticed that sometimes grep aborts its search through syslog when it thinks portions of the file are binary. This resulted in missing the "Previous self test" lines that 36-diskststus...
 i'm not getting anything from it, running the commands by hand does work but the script doesn't display any value
The [efivarfs](https://docs.kernel.org/filesystems/efivarfs.html) is not meant to be used as a generic filesystem, so it can be ignored.
Added an alternative that grep's journctl rather than syslog.
