trying to build on Fedora

I am trying to build feedforward with recent ghc, libraries, gcc, on Fedora.

I am getting stuck at building ncurses but it seems to be a c2hs error https://github.com/haskell/c2hs/issues/300 How hard can it be? ncurses (the C library) is stable, ncurses (Haskell) is small ...

if this does not go anywhere, perhaps I can replace ncurses (in feedforward) with https://hackage.haskell.org/package/ansi-terminal
