Playback Source Setting Not Working

Current Behavior
When I would change the setting for video source playback to use a different instance rather than “Instance of current account” then I would open a video, the videos source would be the instance I’m currently using.
- Open settings
- Open Player
- In source change to “Instance B”
- Have current account selected in the home page as “Instance A”
- Open video
- Open video settings and press on stream
Expected Behavior
Have the video source be “Instance B” rather than A.

Just on additional information. This option, when working, only makes sense if proxying is enabled. For the instance one wants to.
Because when proxying is disabled. Yattee requests the streams directly from the Google servers and only proxies some specific content type. E.g. music videos.
Now it would be helpful if this feature would work. Because right now Invidious:latest can't update subscription feed nor access chanel page, but plays videos just fine. On the other hand Invidious:master branch can update subscription feed and access chanel pages, but it can't play videos.
I setup additional invidious instance on my home server. One is running the latest version and the other one the master branch version.
I was hoping I could use the master one as the active location on the home page and then set the playback source to the latest version, which actually can play videos. But I wasn't able to get it working.
