Does this code work I am seeing mix opinions?

Hi I'm trying to use this to create a transmitter a receiver for a DIY drone I am wondering if this code works and if not could anyone suggest me any other options on sing cc2500 and maybe another microcontroller ( I have two raspberry pi3). I am very new to rf and looking for help. Thanks :)
