Why could there not be an access token hardcoded, like the client secret and ID? Unless there are severe request limits that it is possible for us to reach I see no reason not to. Would remove the need for all of the auth stuff.

The access token is tied to a individual account and only lasts for 7 days. Downloading tracks counts as streaming, and each account can only stream on one device at a time. Therefore the access token needs to be uniquely generated for each device using tidal-dl.
