Rotated images appear not rotated in uploading preview

If you are reporting a bug please:

  • Check the bug has already been reported (https://github.com/yarl/pattypan/issues).
  • Explain the current issue.
    • Some cameras rotate images in a way that in a file browser (Nautilus) these appear ok. However the pattypan preview show them in landscape orientation and not potrait. Example is this file: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Bernartice,_pohled_p%C5%99ed_rybn%C3%ADk_ke_kostelu_svat%C3%A9ho_Petra_a_Pavla.jpg
  • Describe the expected behavior.
    • The uploading preview in Pattypan should show this images as rotated.
  • Add the problematic spreadsheet and a example media file (drag & drop here).
    • The media file is mentioned above. This bug is not related to the table per se. The camera used is SONY DSC-HX400V. The pattypan version is 20.04
  • Add the PattyPan log file (drag & drop here). You find a link to the PattyPan log at the application start screen.
