panic: syntax error in pattern

Used the pattern below: matches, err := filepathx.Glob(casename + "/**/*.png")

It works just fine but I recently encountered the error "panic: syntax error in pattern" while globing a directory. Please what can I do?

Its due to the fact that the code does not escape properly the filepath.Match syntax. Which it should do... On windows however escaping is disabled...
