Behaviour of "slack --status "

Open dethics opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

Hi,

Thanks much for developing this. I just discovered, but I may make a lot of use of it.

Should the suggestions provided when using the slack --status option be read from the workspace defaults?

I just see the ones that Slack uses as an initial default, and they are not changed when I change the Workspace settings and do a slack --refresh.

Would be great to be able to also input other status strings not in the default as an argument, and also emoji using standard :colon: input.

I attached two clients so far: is some kind of combination of default status suggestions from different workspaces also possible on the roadmap?

Thanks again.

Regards,

  • Ian.

Being able to specify text, emoji, and expiration would be really nice.

I never understood how this feature should be used. Anytime I call --status I always see this. Screen Shot 2021-09-20 at 13 33 53

Is it a bug ?
