Dot badges are not working as intended

Several bugs have been found with badges :

  • The dot badge is missing when inside a server with new messages on other text channels
  • The dot badge detection is wanky and causes the dot badge to blink when moving the cursor across the servers list

Hello, I have also noticed that the setting to disable the dot(unread message badge) does not work. with the setting off, I still see the dot, and if I mark everything 'read' it will go away temporarily until another message is posted.
