Mic input not working during audio call

I can hear others, but others cannot hear me. I'm using the built-in mic and speaker on M1 Pro 14".

Ah, seems to be a mic permissions issue. I never saw a request for mic permissions on the M1 edition, so I loaded the Intel version and that prompted for permission, I gave it, and the mic worked.... went back to the M1 version and the mics worked.

Probably worth a try for mic issues.

actually managed to fix this by re enabling SIP, if you have it disabled. it then asked me for permission.
