Sorry if this already documented somewhere, but what should I do if I want to use latex commands from mathjax physics extension?

I was not aware of MathJax extensions, but it seems very interesting. I just checked and it seems mathjax-node-cli was last updated 4 years ago, and maybe out-dated. Will check and figure out how to use it (or something else) to use extensions. Will keep you updated.

You may face the same issue as math-preview package which also relies on mathjax-node-cli.

This one relies on mathjax version 2, but to benefit from physics package (and many others), you would have to upgrade mathjax to version 3.

Mathjax version 3 has a node-based support, there are some examples here
