Option of Adding Local RSS Feed by Links (iOS)

Open Cyril-10 opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

It's of prime significance to be out-of-the-box ready for people that are less tech-savvy. And as a paid app, it's frustrating that the app doesn't support RSS importing by links...

Feature wanted: Please allow users to add new RSS feeds by copying links to the app just like on NetNewsWire.

Alternatives: The reason of me turning to Fluent Reader Lite is be because of the lack of customization in NetNewsWire(It cannot adjust the fonts freely).

And I wonder if the devs are planning to support the feature. Please let me know. Thanks.

That right i use it on android and it's also lack of local profile which make inconvenient to add or remove rss i don't know why the developer don't add this crucial feature i think i will stick with feeder as my primary rss app for now tell this feature added

Happy user of the desktop version here. Bought the app thinking it'd be same experience. Turns out I have to either pay for a service (Feedbin for regular plan, Inoreader for access to API) or set up a server (Fever) or use Google (no go). Really really really disappointed that a simple OPML import or rss link import isn't possible.

PS: call me dumb for not getting the limitations from the description, but still.
