To have separate dictionaries for separate vhosts based on i.e. $host variable. For example sdch_dict /var/cache/dictionary/$host/airee.dict;

You can just put sdch_dict into "server" directive.

Of course I can. But I can't create unified config for multiple hosts - with the same string containing $host variable. I.e. server { server_name _; listen 80; sdch_dict /var/cache/dictionary/$host; }
