Insertion point still visible when Notification Centre open

YakYak 1.5.9, MacOS 10.15.6.

The insertion point (caret) is still visible when Notification Centre is open. To replicate:

1. Click in the 'Message' field in YakYak.
2. Click the Notification Centre icon in the menu bar.
3. Notice that YakYak's Message field still has the flashing insertion point. If you attempt to type, it'll play the alert sound.

The insertion point should go away when Notification Centre is open, and return when you close it again. Apps like TextEdit, Notes and Mail provide examples of this.

A bit of a nitpick, but best to make you aware anyway :)

I'm pretty much content to let this one die as it's not really important, but for what it's worth it also happens on OS 11.1.
