Sounds pretty similar: https://github.com/meetfranz/franz/issues/1535 check the comment regarding `window.electronSafeIpc`.

Tested it again with the latest 1.8.x build - After setting it up -> the page was entirely white/blank - Opening the service specific console showed 3 errors - ......
