just would like to know. As I noticed, cd_cli is not working for me for about ~months.

Amazon has blocked acd_cli and there is no way for this project legally to continue to exist, as far as I understand

In EU the product can legally exist. You can do all the reverse engineering with or without help, you want to make things compatible. You can not give up this right, even by contract.

I think the "legally" means "practically". If Amazon blocks the app what are you going to do, raise funds to sue them to turn it back on? Europe has some weird (to others) rules, like the Right To Be Forgotten, so you might win. Maybe 5-10 years of litigation later. But for something like this, who is going to fund it?

And who is going to wait? I switched to a commercial product (Goodsync linux). It's pretty bad at this in many ways, and undocumented, but it is blessed by Amazon, so I just moved on.
