Medium editor doesn't correctly apply font-formatting

Description

Font-formatting doesn't apply on pasted text contents

Steps to reproduce

Copy a formatted document (bold, text-color and italic styles) from Word Doc or Google Doc and paste on a medium editor text-area container

Expected behavior: The rendering of the content should match the way it appears on google docs

Actual behavior: It loses font-formatting

Versions

  • medium-editor: latest version
  • browser: Google Chrome
  • OS: Windows 10

This is also the case when you copy text there have images in it. If you copy text only the formatting is applied
