Frequent freezing during Liyue Archon Quest

Describe the bug

I started playing Genshin Impact using YAAGL two weeks ago and have experience no to little issues so far. All cutscenes have played perfectly even at the highest quality + full screen. However, today I started the Archon Quest in Liyue and actually got completely stuck on the first cutscene (descension ceremony) to the point where I had to download the game on my phone and play through the cutscene there, just to be able to continue.

The launcher/game does not crash entirely, but the screen freezes while the audio keeps playing. I have tried waiting 10 to 15 minutes to see if it would eventually start playing again, but alas.

The cutscenes which follow all posed similar issues, freezing a few seconds into the cutscene despite the characters just standing there and talking. The only way to fix this is to lower the quality to 'lowest' which is obviously not very enjoyable to play through.

Meanwhile when I'm in the overworld exploring or battling enemies, I can continue to play on the high quality settings and experience no issues at all.
