No artist and song title display in 2012 mercedes w204

Version 4.0.12 ("Andy Warhol")

The issue appears since 4.0.11 Please see the attached 1st image, limited display on transistor playback info.

2nd and 3rd image was downgraded to 4.0.10, artist and title displayed.

Hi @nokturna1

Thanks for reporting his issue. The only change I can think of in v4.0.11 was: I changed the order Station and Now Playing metadata in the notification.

I presume that the car display does only show one line of text for each station. Can you confirm that?

v4.0.10 first line: Now Playing metadata second line: Station

v4.0.11 first line: Station second line: Now Playing metadata

Yes i can confirm car display is showing the station name only (one line) .

Okay. I reversed the order of Now Playing and Station. This change will be part of the next release and will probably solve your problem.

I hear music from my mpd server, I think it outputs as httpd by vorbis encoder. I would like to see song title and artist, as I do if I use MPV app. I prefer your app because is the less battery hungry mobile app I met. Thank you and congratulations for your app.
