Change owner to self in GDrive

After copying a Google Drive folder, all including folders and files are owned by the Service Accounts created with "gen_sa_accounts.py", not by the "final" owner.

Is there a way to change the owner of the files once copied?

Furthermore, what if I deleted the Service Account? Would I loose all my files?
