Player flickers to a blank screen when bandwidth is low

The player in iOS devices flickers to a blank screen when the network bandwidth is low. However, this issue is not seen when on Android devices, or even iOS emulator. We have tried increasing all cache levels ( up to 1500 ) but the problem still persists. It seems to be a iOS player issue. With Android, when bandwidth is low, the screen just freezes which is acceptable. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks.
