No sound on specific stream

Describe the bug URL : https://bcsecurelivehls-i.akamaihd.net/hls/live/551061/618566855001/master.m3u8 If Stream Buffer is Xteve I have no sound. But if Stream buffer is VLC or ffmpeg I have sound.

Server (please complete the following information):

  • OS WD PR4100
  • xTeVe Version and Build 2.2.0
  • PLEX

Expected behavior Should have sound

@nightwulf973 Is there any sound when you open the xteve.m3u with VLC?

Can you Please Post the Arguments you have in the ffmpeg & VLC lines...Are they default or did you edit them? Also, what is the format of the sound that is not playing? I'm not aware of any Sound formats not supported by xTeVe remux, but this will help us. This? image

Nothing special, tried with 2-3 fresh install of xteve and always the same problem

Yes it work and with ffmegit work well also

If VLC works, it's a Plex issue. Plex is not compatible with all video / audio codecs. The xTeVe buffer sends all data unchanged to Plex. FFmpeg and VLC Buffer do some magic.

Are you sure? Could also be, that FFmpeg and VLC are smart enough to figure out, that audio is in a separate m3u8, reads, muxes the audio stream...
