its expected that with vendor defined extensions to xquery that xquerydoc currently borks, we should try to catch these errors and at a minimum report on them.

we have Makefile for *nix, wondering if we need same thing for windows ... might be best as an executable java jar ?

for generating pdf docs (as much as I hate pdf, some people like em)

some folks have gotten confused by the README saying 'pure xquery' functions ... suggest changing it as the repo contains mostly MarkLogic XQuery variant.
